Vietnam Civil Code 2015

The Civil Code 2015 has been issued on 24 November 2015 with new content on the establishment and protection of civil rights; Civil legal capacity of individuals and legal entities; households, cooperative groups; asset; civil transactions; represent; period, the statute of limitations; property rights etc.

Civil Codes 2015 has remarkable following points:

- Transsexual
- Legal entity on trade
- The statute of inheritance
- General transaction conditions in contract signing
Article 406 Civil Code 2015 prescribes:
+ General transaction conditions are stable terms announced by a party to apply to the offeree; if the offeree accepts to enter contract shall be deemed to accept these terms.
+ General transaction conditions shall be effective only with the party of transaction establishment in case the conditions of this transaction has been publicly for the party of transaction establishment to know or must   know about such conditions.
+ If general transaction conditions states free liability for the party giving the general transaction conditions, increase responsibility or eliminate the legitimate rights for tthe other party, this provisions have no effect, unless agreed.

Civil Codes 2015 goes in force on 01 Jan.2017.
